Found Quicken Loans through lending tree and on the whole they made the process easy enough. They do push you to pay the earnest money pretty hard, but then 2 other lenders did the same thing, so it's not unique to QL. Since you can't get an actual TIL statement until you pay, it makes the lending tree experience less useful. However my QL representative made it worth my while by coming in significantly lower than the competitors, and recommending a 15 yr over the 30 year I was planning, saving me money over the long run. The application process was the fastest I've ever seen, and the online document review/signing was very convenient. The loan was transferred to Chase before the first payment was due, making it a bit of a pain to get an online payment setup, but a quick call to Chase customer service resolved that. In general, QL will be first on my list for loans in the future.
