While we have and are now in a wonderful new home, the process was a little more stressful than we'd have liked. That being said, the customer service was great...people always answered my questions and provided prompt responses. Now, were the answers to my questions right on...no. And there was a level of repetitive process during the application that made the experience more sour and gave the feeling of things not being completed somewhere outside of me or my wife's control...meaning, we gave all the information asked for within 24 hours and sometimes we gave that same information multiple times! So, while the ease of doing things via the web, or over the phone was nice...there was a sense that it was all part of a process that COULD make for errors; sometimes even repetitive errors. Again, overall, the product is great! My wife and I are extremelly happy with the end result of buying a great home in a great neighborhood with an awesome rate! We were close to not getting the loan closed on time, but that also ended up being good in the end. The one concern I have is that the loan is already sold off to GMAC, and I haven't even made an additional payment yet.
