I wanted to take this time point out a phenomenal job well done by Mortgage Banker Al Hudson. After reading reviews from not so happy customers, I was worried about the outcome of applying for a home loan through an online lender; for 2 reasons; I had less than perfect credit and I was worried that because Quicken was an online lender my circumstances would not be handled as they would if a local bank were handling my loan. Well I was wrong. Today, I am a homeowner because of Al Hudson at Quicken. The listing agent for the home I was purchasing had advised me that in order to have our offer accepted we needed to use a traditional lender and not an online lender. I'd explained this matter to my initial Mortgage Banker and was told that nothing could be done. After not receiving responses from my original banker, I started from the beginning and Al Hudson answered the call. Al amazed me when he took the initiative to call the listing agent on the home I was purchasing and explain how Quicken Loan works. From the moment Al took over my case he has worked tirelessly to educate me through the process. He was always empathetic with my concerns and anxieties with the loan process and offered advice where ever he could. If he did not know the answer, he'd find out and get right back to me. Although I had the ease of uploading documentation and checking my loan status on the Quicken website, my experience with Quicken has been anything but point and click. Real people were involved with assisting me with one of the most important events of my life and I would recommend Quicken to anyone that I know is going through this process.
