FANTASTIC! If At First They Didn’t Succeed They Kept Trying And I Finally Got More Than I Asked For!!

My re-fi started out with my clicking on one of the one line “cheap re-fi” buttons. Instantly I had four phone calls from four different companies. I’m disabled so my income sources are not exactly conventional. The first three companies just said no but Nawal Zayad kept trying. We seemed to be talking three or four times a day trying to resolve the underwriters requirements. (The days of easy re-fi’s are definitely over.) I was asking for a re-fi with cash out to pay of an existing second. I also had a two week rate lock so the clock was ticking with each request for more documentation. I got turned down by the underwriters, even without the cash out. Instead of giving up on a client Nawal asked Bill Howard, her senior rep to step in and see what he could do. To make a long bit of praise short Bill reworked the numbers to prove to the underwriters that not only was I worthy of the re-fi but also the cash out! The whole process took less than a month. As the rate lock was set to expire the same day Bill got loan approval a notary downloaded the docs and rushed over so my wife and I could sign before 7PM when the lock expired.

I have the highest praise not only for Nawal and Bill but also for Bill’s assistant and their local notary. While the underwriters seemed to demand the world in documentation, as I said I am not a typical refi, in retrospect I understand what and why they were doing it and have the greatest respect for them.

My out of pocket closing costs were minimal and rolled into the loan.

If rates keep dropping I might even re-fi again and definitely go back to them. I am recommending Quicken Loans to my friends and neighbors. Don’t let their name confuse you as they have nothing to do with the software except that the owner started that company too. Be sure to read his bio as he certainly lives the lifestyle.

MY JOURNEY BEGAN IN MARCH FINDING A LENDER FOR A CONDO IN PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL. I THOUGHT SURELY WITH GOOD CREDIT SCORES AND LOW DEBT RATIOS IT WOULD BE A CINCH TO FIND ONE. UNFORTUNATELY, THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. AFTER THE BUBBLE BURST, PCB PUT OUT THE “CLOSED” SIGN TO NEW PURCHASES AND WAS NOT OFFERING CONVENTIONAL LOANS. SO I CALLED BANK OF AMERICA WHOM I HAD BEEN A CUSTOMER WITH FOR 20 YEARS AND TO MY SURPRISE THEY SAID “NO.” BANKS WERE SCARED TO LEND ON PROPERTIES, ESPECIALLY CONDOS. WHAT TO DO? I BEGAN TO SURF THE WEB, I COMPARED LENDERS ON GOOGLE COMPARISONS AND CALLED EVERY LENDER ON THE LIST. I WASN’T GOING TO CALL QUICKEN LOANS BECAUSE THE “NAME”, WELL SOUNDS KIND OF CHEESY. BUT I WAS GETTING DESPERATE, NO ONE WOULD BUDGE. I HAD THE DOWN PAYMENT, THE GOOD CREDIT, EVERYTHING, BUT WITH THE NEW REGULATIONS ON LENDING, I COULDN’T GET A LOAN. SO I CALLED QUICKEN LOANS AND I SPOKE TO DOUG BLODICK, WE SPOKE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND HE TOLD ME MAYBE HE COULD HELP. FINALLY, THERE WAS HOPE. I GOT PRE-APPROVED AND FOUND A CONDO I WANTED TO PURCHASE AND SO IT BEGAN. I GOT THE OFFER ON A CONDO ON THE 22ND OF JUNE. PAPERWORK BEGAN TO FLY BETWEEN DOUG AND I IMMEDIATELY FOR THE LOAN. DOUG IS AWESOME, I WAS BLESSED HE ANSWERED THE PHONE THAT DAY. THE WEB SITE ROCKS, IT’S EASY AND YOU SEE EVERYTHING GOING ON. MY NEXT TEAM MEMBER TO HELP WAS SARAH LAMBERT, SHE WORKED JUST HAS HARD AND KEPT ME UPDATED, EVEN CALLED ME ON WEEKENDS AND THE 4TH OF JULY HOLIDAY, OR E-MAIL IF I HAD A QUESTION, WOW! I WAS IMPRESSED, I NEVER HAD EXPERIENCED CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE THAT BEFORE, NEVER FROM A LENDER OR BANK. ANYWAY, THE LOAN PROCESS WAS AS SMOOTH AS BUTTER SLIDING ACROSS A HOT PLATE. AND ON JULY 22ND, ONE MONTH TO THE DAY OF GETTING THE OFFER, I WAS CLOSING ON MY DREAM OF OWNING MY CONDO IN PANAMA CITY BEACH, AND IT’S BEAUTIFUL!! THANKS QUICKEN LOANS. YOUR TRULY ENGINEERED TO “AMAZE”. I TOLD MY REALTOR TO TELL HER CLIENTS HAVING THE SAME DILEMMA I WAS HAVING TO CALL QUICKEN LOANS AN SEE WHAT THE CAN DO FOR THEM. luvUguys.

Fast, Friendly, And Efficient Process

I was rather shocked – and very pleasantly surprised – that a company as large as Quicken left me so completely satisfied. In todays global market so many companies see only numbers and this results in cold, impersonal customer service. I even find this to be the case at local banks. It tends to make you jaded. Which is why this was such a gratifying experience for me. “Cold, impersonal service” couldn’t have been futher from the truth with the Quicken team that processed my loan. Granted; turning a profit is the name of the game for any company. But the attention to detail and warm personal service Quicken delivered will ensure that it will continue to turn a profit year after year while it’s cold, impersonal competitors flounder and fail. I would be remiss if I did not single Ranimol out for her handling of my account. This lady is on top of it. I’m hoping that Quicken recognizes this and is compensating her accordingly! Quicken has the formula for continued success. It’s about satisfied customers…and they definitely “get that”.

I worked with Ember Mahaffey throughout the loan process. It is my opinion that she should change her name from Ember to Blaze because this lady was absolutely on fire! Every detail of my loan was specific and clear, every question I had was answered professionally and to my satisfaction in a language I could understand. Overall this was the best experience I have ever had in closing a loan. Ember’s courtesy and professionalism are becoming a rare occurrence in this day and age and she is a credit not only to herself but to her profession.

I would like to say that I have had multiple loan applications in my time but I must say that this one was the easiest, quickest and overall painless of all. I especially liked dealing with Rick Diaz. He was VERY proffessional, courteous and helpful when I had issues or concerns. I would also like to applude Cassandra Davis with her handling of the required paper work. All and all, I came away feeling very pleased.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of Rick Diaz. It was obvious he was very knowledgeable and very concerned with meeting my requirements in a refinance. He was also courteous and friendly. The loan went very smoothly. All of the other support personnel were awesome as well. You can tell that Quicken has all the processes in place to respond to their customers in timely & professional ways; nothing was overlooked, no call went un-returned. The whole experience renewed my faith that companies can provide a great product & great customer service, if they really want to! I can’t wait to recommend Quicken to my family & freinds.
