Working the details and paperwork for a home refinance with Quicken Loans was very easy. Their web-site is extremely easy to use when updating paperwork and determining what is needed next. My loan adviser, Gerard Lemionet, was easy to reach, very responsive, knowledgable, courteous, and patient as I worked to understand the different options and timelines available to me. Unlike another large financial institution I had worked with, Quicken Loans promised to complete all refinance actions and close the loan within 30 days and they kept to their word and did it!

To be honest, I went into this refinance process through Quicken Loans with some apprehension and much reservation. In all my previous refinancing experiences with other institutions, I was always surprised with unexpected fees and other hoops to jump through.

I would like to say that my experience with Quicken Loans, via Matt Smith, was the most painless and most pleasant refinancing process I have ever been through. I was surprised and amazed how easy and seamless the whole process went. I’m still waiting for the catch. I most definitely would recommend Matt Smith and Quicken Loans to anyone planning on refinancing.

process was smooth and follow up consistent until day before closing in which I was asked for a copy of my most bank recent checking acct statement which I think should have been asked for by underwriting when submitting my inital documents, especially since I was decreasing the loan amount down to $234k (which was originally requested) from $236K (not sure where that came from)

Your Sr Mortgage Broker, Enrique Leon, was a total professional throughout the refinance process we conducted with Quicken Loans. He and the supporting team ensured that I was both clear and satisfied with all steps of the finance program. When I was confused by the “internet” automatic transaction and information sent by Quicken, Enrique and his team acknowledged the inconsistencies with the closing terms and assured me that our agreements were being upheld by Quicken. When I received the final numbers and the preliminary closing papers, the Quicken team did a great job of follow up and resolution of the (minor) issues. Overall, the process was expedient, and the title rep sent by Quicken was an outstanding person… not expected but greatly appreciated. Overall, would do business with Quicken again, would definitely do business with Enrique Leon again.
